We present the solar water heaters installed by Shtigen Energy Systems in Kalavan, one of the distant villages of Gegharquniq region of Armenia. The heaters were financed by the Armenian American Cultural Society of Las Vegas with the strong support of Robert Ghukasyan, the founder of Kalavan-TimeLand.
Gandzak’s administration launched and financed the 10kW PV station construction by Shtigen in late April 2018. It uses monocrystalline PV panels and 2 5kW KStar inverters (Shtigen is KStar’s exclusive representative in the region).
We present another PV system installed by Shtigen which serves to power the house and the business nearby allowing the owner to save more. The rooftop PV 20kW system will generate 32 200kWh of electricity annually. The PV panels are installed on the roof but will also power the store located on the ground floor.
Solar energy is a saving way not only for households and businesses but also for social objects like kindergartens. Recently Shtigen Energy Systems has installed solar systems in “Khoramankapartez” kindergarten for its kids and staff.

SHTIGEN GROUP launched “Sunrise in Artsakh” project in April 2022 to establish energetic independence in Artsakh. SHTIGEN GROUP made the first donation itself, installing 12 solar water heaters on the house roofs of families whose relatives were murdered, became disabled, or the family has many children. Those families will always have free hot water for several decades.

Shtigen Group and Telcell signed a memorandum today, starting cooperation within the framework of the Sunrise in Artsakh project. The goal of the project is to establish energy independence and security in Artsakh by using solar energy.
Arevik children’s medical association of Stepanakert will no longer be deprived of hot water in case of gas and electricity supply failures. 8 solar water heaters with a capacity of 300 liters have been installed on the roof of the hospital.
