Shtigen Energy Systems, a company that is part of Shtigen Group, was founded in 2011 with the aim of making cost-saving and safe solar energy systems and technological solutions accessible to every person in the world. The company was founded by a Candidate of Economic Sciences, Hayk Shekyan, who held responsible positions in the banking sector in the early 2000s. Deciding to develop the advanced energy sector in Armenia, he leaves his banking career and establishes his own company
The company has designed, built, and services the region’s largest solar thermal plant (Grand Sport), as well as Armenia’s largest solar power plants (Green Energy, ArSun, Solar 5).
The company has also developed and is implementing educational programs: Shtigen Academy organizes courses for schools, secondary vocational educational institutions, and universities.

Shtigen Energy Systems offers equipment operating with solar technologies (solar panel, water heater, generator), heating and cooling systems, storage batteries, air filtration and virus disinfection equipment, and other devices.

Our goal is to ensure affordable, high-quality, and sustainable services in the advanced energy sector, to develop the advanced energy market in line with global market development trends, and also, through the development of the advanced energy sector, to contribute to the balanced and sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Armenia.

The best evaluation for a completed work is the extention of partnership. In 2018 after analyzing and discussing price offers from several suppliers we decided to trust the 580kW utility-scale solar plant construction for “Inter Aqua” fishfarm to Shtigen. We were the best satisfied with the result. Being happy both with the construction and aftersales service we decided to build another 500kW station for our needs.
As a gas station owner I know the importance of electricity consumption reduction in the formation of the end revenue. The wish to cut the electricity expenses was the main reason why we decided to set up a PV station. It’s almost a year we’ve launched the station and I can tell that the investment was justified. I’d like to thank Shtigen for the quality job done.
