Tiramayr Narek hospital will cover ⅓ of its energy needs using solar energy. The hospital located in one of the most distant parts of Armenia, in Ashotsq, was built after the Spitak earthquake. It had a 10-year lifetime but runs till now serving the people of Shirak, Lori and Javakhq. Tiramayr Narek isn’t financed by the Armenian govt and runs exclusively on the donations of philanthropists. In 2018 Hayastan All-Armenian Found financed the installation of solar systems. The project was made by Start company and realized by Shtigen Energy Systems.
