Shtigen Kids program launched on 6 July in Smart education centre in Lori with the Basics of Sustainable Energy course is now available online and free of charge. Shtigen Kids consists of 6 dynamic interactive online courses and a verification test. It’s for 12-99 years old “kids” who are interested in sustainable energy and energy-efficient solutions. The interactive parts can interest the younger ones because the Basics of Sustainable Energy course is designed to make the education process attractive and comprehensible. The course includes not only the solar energy field but the whole sustainable energy world. The emphasis is made on the technologies applicable in Armenia.

There is also a practical part. On competiton basis groups will be formed and the children involved will have the chance to make solar PV panels and solar water heaters.
The groups will be formed on the basis of ArMath labs where everything is ready for kids to learn engineering and practice.
