The Paruyr Sevak Museum now can welcome the visitors all year long. The 15kW PV installation by Shtigen provides the museum with the amount of electricity necessary for its activity.

The Paruyr Sevak Museum now can welcome the visitors all year long.

Running the solar station will result in annual savings of 1.1 million AMD.
The photovoltaic station will generate in average 24500kWh electricity annually which is enough for the normal functioning of the museum in any month of the year. Before the solar system installation the museum was open only 7 months a year.
By the way, the museum is located in the birthplace of Paruyr Sevak – in Zangakatun village. On 29 Septemper there was a celebration of the 190-year anniversary of the village and there was also another big event – the 95-year anniversary of the poet. Shtigen’s team was happy to participate in celebration.
In the beginning the director of the museum, the grandson of Paruyr Sevak – Sevak Ghazaryan briefly presented the history of establishment of the village. Then “Karin” folk dance group and “The Poetry Theater” troupe brought their fantastic mood into the celebration. The theatral troupe showed several scenes from the poet’s life. The villagers hosted a great degustation of traditional dishes of Zangakatun. We wish intensive activity and sunny days to the museum and its whole staff.
