About Shtigen

Shtigen Energy Systems, a company operating under the Shtigen Group, was established in 2011 with the mission of making affordable and safe solar-powered systems and technological solutions accessible to people worldwide. The company was founded by Hayk Shekyan in the early 2000s, after holding senior positions in the banking sector. He left his banking career to establish his own company with the objective of contributing to the development of Armenia’s energy sector.
The company has effectively designed, built, and maintained the largest solar thermal plant in the region (Grand Sport), as well as the largest solar power plants in Armenia (Green Energy, ArSun, Solar 5).
Education is indeed a significant focus for Shtigen Energy Systems. The company’s commitment to promoting knowledge and expertise in the field of renewable energy is reflected through Shtigen Academy, which provides courses tailored for schools, vocational training institutions, and universities.
WHAT WE OFFER
Shtigen Energy Systems offers a range of solar-powered devices, including solar panels, water heaters, and generators. The company also offers heating and cooling systems, storage batteries, air purifiers and other related devices.

The best evaluation for a completed work is the extention of partnership. In 2018 after analyzing and discussing price offers from several suppliers we decided to trust the 580kW utility-scale solar plant construction for “Inter Aqua” fishfarm to Shtigen. We were the best satisfied with the result. Being happy both with the construction and aftersales service we decided to build another 500kW station for our needs.
As a gas station owner I know the importance of electricity consumption reduction in the formation of the end revenue. The wish to cut the electricity expenses was the main reason why we decided to set up a PV station. It’s almost a year we’ve launched the station and I can tell that the investment was justified. I’d like to thank Shtigen for the quality job done.
