Shtigen offers state-of-the-art air-to-water heat pumps, currently recognized as the most cost-effective heating alternative. The system extracts energy directly from the environment and transforms it through a heat exchanger, providing heating, cooling, and domestic hot water for your property.
The operation of a heat pump is based on thermodynamic principles. Even when the outside temperature drops to -10°C, the system captures the thermal energy present in the air, effectively reaching temperatures as low as -35°C. The energy generated from this temperature differential is transferred to water, heating it to 35°C-40°C. This thermal energy is ideal for fan coils or underfloor heating systems.
COP: The Efficiency Benchmark
The primary advantage of the system is its COP (Coefficient Of Performance). It represents the ratio of energy consumed to energy produced:
– COP 4: For every 1 kWh of electricity consumed, you receive up to 4 kWh or more of thermal energy.
– Stability: Even in extreme conditions (e.g., -15°C outside), the system maintains high efficiency, ensuring a COP of 2.5.
Technical Specifications
– System Flexibility: Fully compatible with both single-phase and three-phase power grids.
– Energy Efficiency: For a 150 sqm area, the maximum electrical consumption is only 4.5-5 kW.
– Capacity: Up to 25 kW of thermal power, designed for the most demanding climates.
