Shtigen, a leader in the solar energy sector, has become the first company in the industry to issue bonds.

This initiative allows investors not only to earn high returns but also to support the development of renewable energy in Armenia.

The bonds were issued in the amount of 1 billion AMD with a maturity period of 36 months. They offer an annual yield of 12.75% and have a nominal value of 100,000 AMD. The placement period runs from February 27, 2025, to May 27, 2025.

After the primary placement and listing, Shtigen bonds will also be traded on the Armenian Stock Exchange.

The placement is managed by Dimension Investment Company.

Hayk Shekyan, the founding director of Shtigen Group of Companies, emphasized that the bonds present an excellent opportunity for investment and effective savings management.

“By issuing bonds, we provide both individuals and legal entities with the chance to contribute to the development of Armenia’s capital markets and renewable energy sector while securing a stable income. Shtigen has always been a pioneer in promoting energy security in Armenia, and we are pleased that investors can now be part of this important mission,” said Shekyan.

Shtigen Company, which has been operating in the Republic of Armenia for over 14 years and recently expanded into the Georgian market, contributes to energy security in Armenia and the region through alternative energy systems and technological solutions.

Having achieved steady growth in recent years, the company has evolved into a group of companies, establishing a new ecosystem in the energy sector through specialized business directions.

As of 2024, Shtigen has built Armenia’s largest solar power plant, Masrik-1, with an installed capacity of 62 MW. It is also the leading taxpayer in Armenia’s solar energy sector and ranks 217th overall among the country’s 1,000 largest taxpayers, according to the 2024 SRC data.
