In continuing to uphold its principles of corporate social responsibilities, Shtigen continues to seek and advise the residents of Armenia’s border villages. On March 18, 2016 in cooperation with Fuller Center (Armenia) Shtigen made a renewable energy presentation for the residents of Yervandashat, Armenia.
The village is located 1 kilometer from the Armenian-Turkish border and does not have an supply of natural gas. Shtigen is committed to provide free advice on energy efficiency solutions and special rates for solar solutions, which will contribute to cost-savings and energy independence for these border villages.
Shtigen CEO, Mr. Hayk Shekyan, presented the practice of implementation for renewable energy solutions in Armenia, informed the audience of the recently approved Net-metering law package and gave practical advice to people on how to optimize their household energy expenses.
